Next time you equip your killstreak awards, try out the 5-7-11 strategy. Basically, this means that as soon as you have reached 5 kills, with a bit of luck you won’t need to take any more risks before getting a chopper gunner.
Basically: at 5 kills, make sure you are safe (if sniping, you may want to do a quick sweep of the area you are covering to get another kill or two) and launch the predator missile. This is almost a guaranteed kill, and often gives two kills. Two kills will take you straight to harriers. Wait for enemies to come up onto the mini map (i.e. the red dot you see after someone shoots) or a UAV so that the carpet bombing can be successful. With some luck the harriers will take you to chopper gunner (11 kills), and then you can rain bullets on the enemy team from your cosy chopper.
