This is by far the most requested walkthrough for BioWare’s sci-fi spectacular and even though searching for terminals on Illium makes us flashback to researching those godforsaken keepers in the original Mass Effect, thankfully this side quest isn’t anywhere near as troubling.
After talking to Liari during a not so touching reunion, she’ll tease that she can’t talk to you about more important matters until she fulfils more of her information broker duties. We’ll stay away from the finer details at the moment, but the important facts you need to know are where to find the terminals and we’ve singled out every single one for your convenience, just follow the steps below and click the maps below:
All of the first terminals are very easy to miss, especially if you don't check the numbered areas.
1. First off there are three terminals you’ll need to hack. They are all located near the tracking office, along the outer walls.
2. Once you hack each terminal one by one, you’ll need to hunt down another PC station in order to download the data to Liara’s office.
3. Thankfully it isn’t as complicated as it sounds – all you need to do is use the distance indicator in the lower corner which will count down as you get closer to the console.
The final five terminals are located around the market area, apart from one pesky console by the station's bar.
4. After completing Liara’s task a friendly pop-up appears explaining that you’ll need to see her post haste. After plenty of talky, talky she’ll explain that you’ll need to find and hack even more terminals, but this time at least you get some fiction along with it. Find all the data points (mapped to your right) and piece together the five different story extracts in order to figure out who the station’s mole is.
5. When you feel satisfied call Liara with your decision, the correct one is that all of her potential targets are incorrect. From there go see the strangely attractive Asari doctor once again to complete the assignment.
