Onto the second part of Da Vinci’s Hideout, where you have a ton of item bubbles to collect as you learn the art of swinging and grappling.

Grab And Swing
1 – A large part of this mission acts as a tutorial on how to use the grapple function. Hold R1 to grab onto items. You can then drag them across the screen and use them as platforms to reach higher levels.
In the initial section, you need to drag the spongy block over to the books on the right-hand side of the screen. You can then jump on it to get to the platform. Next up, you need to drag two objects to the right-hand side of the screen. You’ll need to move Sackboy in and out of the screen to grab hold of them. When you see the stack of blocks, jump into them to knock them over and then you can climb across them to access the next area.
2 – Check out the sofa on wheels. When you see an item that has wheels, you can carry other heavy items on top of it, including yourself. In this section, you’ll be speeding down a ramp. If you’re aiming for 100% completion of this level, you need to drag the sofa to the right, tapping X to gain momentum. You should then jump on top of it just as it drops down the ramp. You should collect all the Score bubbles automatically, but you need to make sure that Sackboy is gripping the top left edge of the sofa if you want to get the last Item Bubble at the end of the ramp. You won’t be able to get it once you’ve reached the bottom.When you hit the bottom of the ramp, get off the sofa and backtrack to the left. Just at the bottom of the ramp you can step into the background and drop down to a secret area where you’ll find item bubbles.
3 – Learn how to swing from blocks. Loose the button at the appropriate time to swing in between blocks. When you reach the key, grab it to unlock a Survival Challenge and then drop down. To access the area below the key, move Sackboy right into the screen as far as he will go and walk to the right, past the bounce pads. He’ll move through the shadows and down to the secret area. Keep going to the left picking up the bubbles and then launch him at the bounce pad at the end to exit.
4 – When you hit the area where you’re asked to transport through the level link, backtrack on yourself. You can move Sackboy behind the small pile of books to access a Decoration sticker.
5- When you head through the level link, you’ll find yourself in a toilet bowl. Don’t jump out yet. Jump to the left on top of the loo roll to grab the sticker and then move toward the book on the right to open the secret door. Note – The lever on the toiler is an activation switch. You’ll come back to that in a minute.
6 – Activate your grapple using R1 to grab the bubbles. You can use the left analog stick to change the length of the rope and therefore get hard to reach bubbles. You can also cause it to swing left and right to gain momentum. Now head back to the toilet and grapple onto the pull lever to get an item bubble.
7 – Follow the prompts on the chalkboard drawings of Sackboy to move the grapple rope up and down.
8 – Here’s where you find the specs sticker, which you need to Ace the first level in Da Vinci’s Hideout. When you lower yourself down onto one of the platforms, step into the shadows on the left hand side to access a secret area and grab the sticker.
9 – Get ready to race. This is against the clock, but if you want 100% completion take your time and go for the bubbles first, you can always come back to this level. You need to apply everything you’ve learned about grappling. So perfect your swing and remember to raise and lower your grapple rope in order to get all the bubbles. There’s a tricky part where you’ll find the launch pad stuck to the wall. You need to use your grapple rope and bounce of the pad to get all the bubbles. There are three hard to reach stickers on the platform just above this tricky section. You need to lengten your rope and use the momentum of the bounce pad to reach them. Loose at exactly the right time and you’ll land on the platform. The last item bubble you need to collect to complete the level 100% is above the large wheel. You really need to gain momentum, lengthen your rope and jump at the right time.
Now that you’ve completed the level, head back to the first stage of Da Vinci’s Hideout and place those Da Vinci specs on the painting to Ace the level and earn extra rewards.
