“Expecto Patronum” is a powerful spell. Use this and you’ll be able to beat Dementors with a flick of your wand. Check out this guide on how to breeze through the Patronus Charm lesson.
There’s five Dementors to beat on this level and some are well hidden. The first two are in small chests that you’ll see in the centre of the room, so target and get rid of them first.
Now shoot at the wardrobe just to the left of the door where you came into the class and you’ll then be able to build a camera which projects a painting on the wall. Shoot at the painting and you’ll find the third Dementor.
There’s a pixie holding onto a chest in mid-air on the left hand side of the room, so switch spells and shoot him down to release the fourth Dementor.
The last Dementor is on the right hand side of the room. You’ll see some vines clutching onto a chest. Just switch to your Lumos spell to burn them away and then kill the Dementor.
You’ve now added Expecto Patronum to your arsenal of spells. Now head out the room to the central hallway and follow the ghost to Hagrid’s Hut.
