Make your way through the bathroom where you’ll discover and try to destroy Tom Riddle’s diary. Check out the complete guide to level 4 of LEGO Harry Potter.
The level begins in the bathroom with Monaning Myrtle hiding in one of the cubicles. If you stand back and face the cubicles shall throw items at you. Choose Harry and use his Wingardium Leviosa spell to throw them back. You’ll smash open the cubicle doors in the process and you’ll see Myrtle appear from one of the doors. When you see her, you only have a brief moment, cast a spell at her. Don’t worry if you miss, you’ll just have to repeat the process of sending items flying back at the cubicles until she appears again. After the cut-scene you’ll appear in a new area.
In this area you need to first find the three items to put in the cauldron.
Item 1 – Cast a spell at the bookshelf on the far left of the area.
Item 2 – Jump on one of the three stools (buttons) and you’ll see platforms appear from behind them allowing you get to the upper level. The first item is on the far left, just smash the pot at the end.
Items 3 – Stand on the stools again but this time head to the right. You’ll be able to get the next item from a chest.
To left of where you see the Mandrake you’ll be able to construct on object on the wall, which builds a wardrobe. Walk in the wardrobe to grab the ear-muffs and then pick up the Mandrake and use it smash open the glass cabinet to the right of the wardrobe. You’ll see a heavy chain here which you need to pull once you’ve got all the items in the cauldron and have drank the potion. Don’t do that just yet. You can plant the Mandrake in the pot next to the glass cabinet.
There are two pixies on the far right of the area carrying LEGO blocks. Shoot them down and then place the two blocks next to each other over the arches in front of them – so you’ll be able to walk across them later. Now drink from the cauldron and pull the chain. You’ll be able to construct some bricks which you have to place on the archways in front of you. There are three black pieces which should be placed vertically an equal distance apart and the two other pieces should be placed on top. You’re basically making two archways like the construction underneath. Once you’re done, take a sip from the cauldron again and jump on the stools to get to the upper level. Move along to the right, hopping across the constructions you’ve just built. Pull the chain at the end of the area which allows you to exit.
Use the Wizard in the painting who will throw a button (stool) at you. Stand on it to alter the staircase. At the next section, you can rotate the bookcase. Wait for one of you to be standing on the bookcase and rotate it. Then switch characters and use the wheel to rotate it so the other character can come across. To get out of the next area, use the springboard to bounce up a level and burn the vines. You’ll then be able to construct another two pieces of a springboard, attach them to the wall on the right and jump up to safety.

How did you go back to the tom riddle level? Because i was in story mode when i did that level. I did go back to hogwarts via the pause menu. And now i cant go to the level anymore via freeplay or story mode.
Do you need two players for the wii version? I can’t get to the left, only the right
