Level 11 – Belly of the Beast

Objective
Use the rocket launcher to destroy the lava beast
Defeat the T-Rex in 5 minutes or less
The T-Rex is back and the aim here is to pick up the rocket launcher and blow him to bits before he can kill you. As soon as you cross the collapsing bridge, take a right and the fiery T-Rex will appear. Shoot at him with the rocket launcher but you only have a limited amount rockets at a time to fire at him. To replenish your ammo you need to step on one of the four pressure pads dotted around the centre of the map to raise the munitions pile. When you need more ammo run across to the munitions pile, re-stock, and then get back to safe ground before the wooden bridge disappears.
Step on all 11 spider tiles
Complete this Challenge separately from the timed challenge to kill the T-Rex, otherwise you won’t have time to complete it. As soon as you get to the other side of the collapsing bridge at the start of the level, take a right, hopping over the first three spider tiles. Follow the perimeter of the arena in a anti-clockwise direction and you’ll see all 11 spider tiles and pick up a White Drum for your efforts.
Red Skulls
1- 4 – There are four red skulls surrounding the munitions pile in the centre of the map. You need to stand, one at a time, on the four pressure pads to activate the bridges so you can move across to the centre. You’ll pick up four skulls in the middle of the bridges.
5. Blow up the stone pillar on the South South East of the map, near to where the T-Rex spawns.
6. Blow up the stone pillar on the North North West of the map in the far corner next to the lava crater.
7-10. You need to kill all the enemies that appear on the spider tiles during the battle. They only appear once you have used your first rounds of ammo on the T-Rex. Don’t kill the T-Rex at this point, kill the enemies and take the red skulls. There’s plenty of ammo to pick up as you jump across the spider tiles.
Score Challenges
To complete all three score challenges, you really need to keep the T-Rex hanging on. Don’t kill him as soon as you have the opportunity, but circle the area and take out all of the lizards that you see in the lava pits.
