Magic your way past three Dragons on your way toward the vicious Hungarian Horntail. Check out this guide to ensure a safe passageway past these fiery beast for Harry and Hagrid.
You’re going to walk past three dragon cages in this level, but they won’t let you walk past without a fight. The Chinese Fireball is first. Shoot the lock of the cage and then levitate the ball onto the platform and through the tube. You’ll see parts of the tube changing colours. Keep moving the ball around until it comes out of the other end. You can safely move past now, shooting at the pixies and switching to Hagrid to pull the chain. You can jump over the flames that come out of the wall. Now use your Lumos spell on the vines and shoot the plant so that you can jump up on the mushroom.
Next up, you need to get past the Common Welsh Green. You’ll see coloured musical notes coming out of his mouth. If you have a bad memory get a pen and paper ready and write down the pattern. There’s a xylophone on the left hand side of the cage. Just levitate the mallet and strike the colours in the order that they come out of his mouth. The most complicated it gets is a sequence of four. In the next section, you’ll see a tank full of water and a barrel. Lift the barrel and get some of the water out and pour it over the four sets of flames (you’ll have to do this a couple of times to put them totally out.) You’ll now be able to create a ramp to climb up.
Next up it’s the Swedish Short Snout. Levitate the ring you see and move it toward the end of one of those three chains. It will take a while but his fiery breath will make the chains snap. Repeat this twice on the other chains.
Now you’ll face The Hungarian Horntail. Use your Wingardium Leviosa spell on one of the chains, the other two characters will automatically use their spell on the other chains and you’ll lift the gate up. Around the back of the cage you and Hagrid will split up. Use Harry’s invisibility cloak to sneak past the dragon. You’ll also need to use Fang to dig with Hagrid on the lower level. Once Hagrid pulls the chain, Harry can use his Lumos spell on the vines. Simply switch between the two characters as you move along this section and you’ll help each other to get to the end of the level. Right at the end, Hagrid needs to cast his Wingardium Leviosa spell on a chain so that Harry can shoot the link.
