While the traditional limit break is missing in Final Fantasy XIII, you can still hit one up via an achievement or trophy. How does one deal over 100,000 damage in a single attack? Well, we’ll let you know a few simple tips on how to deal over the 99,999 mark and unlock the Limit Breaker.

"You see any Genji gloves down there?"
There are several ways to obtain the Limit Breaker trophy/achievement. The easiest is to summon Fang’s eidolon Bahamut and use the Megaflare Lv.3 finishing move. This move is only available during Bahamut’s gestalt mode and you should try to use it in a weaker enemy for optimal damage.
If this fails you then try out these;
- Fully upgrade equipment and combine with Kaiser Knuckles and a Genji glove to unlock the damage limit.
- Building up an enemies stagger meter to 999% increases damage. Lightning’s Army of One move is perfect for this.
- Fang is the most likely to do the damage to take advantage of her auto-abilities such as Smite, Scourge and Adrenaline.
- Casting Bravera can aid the process.
