Bottle-caps can buy you a lot of cool stuff in Fallout: New Vegas. Check out this exploit which will get you as many bottle caps as you can fit in your pockets.
This glitch may also work with a number of different traders, but we gained infinite caps through visiting Johnson Nash at the Vikki and Vance Casino in the town of Primm. It helps if you have lots of loot to sell.
Sell everything that you have that you don’t need. This will boost his cash flow. Now look for something in your inventory that he also has in his. In our case we both had a Silenced Pistol. There should be a difference in price between your item and his. In our case, his Silenced Pistol was worth 15 caps more.
Now, he has two items in his inventory the same. Buy the cheapest of those items back. Note: when the item returns to your inventory it’s fully repaired and the price has drastically risen. Keep repeating the process and rack up those Bottle Caps. The more money the vendor has to begin with, the more money you’ll make.
This may not work with all traders, usually because your REPAIR or BARTER skill is too low. It’s also very likely that Bethesda will patch this at some point.
