Here is the first part of our Dead Rising 2 guide aimed specifically at showing you exactly where all those pesky magazines are. Operating much like modifiers, players can use these literary tools to increase PP, make weapons last longer and increase health. The first thirteen are listed and shown below, be sure to click the pictures for a much bigger perspective:
Royal Flush Plaza:
1. Health 1 : +50% more health restored when eating provisions
Location: Yesterday Today and Tomorrow
2. Combat 2: 10% PP bonus from weapon kills
Location: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
3. Gambling 1: Significantly increases chances of winning money when 
gambling
Location: Ragazines
4. Horror 1: 25% PP boost when killing zombies, Ragazines
Location: Ragazines
5. Stronger Bare Hand Attacks: Increased damage from standard attacks
Location: Ragazines
Slot Ranch Casino:
6. Bike: Bikes last 3 times longer
Location: Slot Ranch Casino, located in the Northern Room. This area will be locked off until the third day of the campaign, so don’t go wasting your time looking for it until then.
Food Court:
7. Bargaining 2: Lowers pawn shop prices by 10%
Location: On the roof of Speedy Expresso, use the vending machines near the entrance to Yucatan Casino to gain access.
Underground:
8. Combat 3: 10% PP boost to all weapon kills
Location: Underground, head to the access point 
towards the rest, which on the map is right next to the compass graphic. Look for the lonely slot machine on the left hand side, the magazine can be found there. Incidentally this is one of the few machines in Dead Rising 2 which always pays out
9. Blades: Edged Weapons last 3 times as long
Location: Underground, north of the only save point. Unfortunately this area only opens up during the latter stages of the game, so don’t look for this one as soon as you start the campaign.
Yukatan:
10. Health 2: Food items restore double the amount of health.
Location: Yucatan Casino, Baron Von Barthaus. When entering the restaurant look for the employees only sign, the magazine is located on the bar directly underneath the sign.
Americana:
11. Driving: All four wheeled vehicles last longer.
Location: Bennie’s BBQ Shack, by the drinks dispenser facing the entrance.
12. Bargaining 1: Lowers price of pawn shop prices by 10%
Location: This one is a bit tricky, first head up to the second floor of Bennie’s BBQ Shack, then jump onto the white rectangular light f
ixtures on suspended from the ceiling and make your way across to the opposite side of the room. You should find yourself on top of the roof near the cashier’s desk. Here you will find the magazine, as well as some cash, a pistol and a dose of Zombrex.
The Arena:
13. Rescue: 25% extra PP from survivor activities
Location: In the security room west of the maintenance room. Check underneath the video screens for the much sought after reading material.
