Dante’s Inferno: How to beat the fourth test of Fraud
January 29, 2010 | In: Dante's Inferno
Though it involves barely any combat, the fourth test of the Malebolge in Fraud, the eighth circle of Hell, will likely prove to be the toughest, requiring that the player keep Dante in the air for eight seconds in a single jump.
It’s not immediately obvious what to do, but there is a very simple solution.
Simply stand next to one of the two demons and hold down Triangle/Y to launch both them and yourself into the air. While in the air hit Triangle/Y once to perform a Heavy Scythe attack before quickly pressing R2/RT to Scythe Grab, which bounces the demon off the floor and back into the air. Hit the demon again with a Heavy Scythe attack and repeat the process for another two to three times to make short work of this challenge.
And if you want to grab the bonus, damage both enemies enough before you fling the first into the air, and if you’re skilled enough, you should be able to Scythe Grab them both.
