Welcome to the complete guide and walkthrough for Crysis 2 where you’ll find tactics and strategies on how to beat the bad guys and aliens. We’ll also show you how to find all of the collectibles.

Assault The Hive Core: Find Reeves And His Team
As you head up the train tracks, there’s some ammo supplies on your right.
It's going to get dark in here and there's an alien infestation, so be prepared to use your nanovision at a moment's notice.
The shotgun is a good weapon in this area. The aliens are fast and are likely to get up close and personal

Tag the Explore and Ledge Grab options.
Head to Explore. There's an MK.60 here which has a fast rate of fire and is ideal for alien slaying!
Note – The MK.60 has a long re-load time, so only re-load if you have to, or when the coast is totally clear.
Head to the Ledge Grab position. From here, you can either bypass some of the aliens, or use your elevated position to your advantage.
On the walkway you’ll also find the JAW weapon. Before you drop down, take a moment to check your map for red blips, indicating enemy activity. No aliens can get to you from this position, so fire away before heading down. Move to the exit door and go through to the next area. A safe passageway through the rooms, until you kick open the next door.

Tag them all.
The Ledge Grab option will give you access to the DSG-1. A great little sniper rifle!
Head to re-supply point. There’s loads of ammo and host of other weapons just on the right hand side of the tunnel past the scaffolding where you performed the ledge grab.
Destroy The Spore Conduit: Access The Spore Silo
Stay on the right hand side and you'll see some C4. Grab it.
Head to the yellow objective marker and light the fuse to blast through the tunnel.
Tactical Option
1. Flank
2. Exit
There’s an ammo crate just before you enter this area so stock up. Cloak and head toward the flank option.
Sabotage The Spore Conduit. Interface With The Spore Veins
You need to get to the Spore Conduit. Stand near the centre and press the action button to destroy them.
There’s lots of aliens on the way down to the Spore Conduit so take your time and try and pick them off from a distance. Remember – they don’t like a sniper rifle shot to the head. Don’t forget to pick up the catalysts. There are a few tougher enemies down here, but you will be rewarded with more cataylsts for killing them. You can use the Conduit as cover too. Once you’ve destroyed the Conduit, head to the exit. You need to destroy another one.
Check your nansuit customisation menu. If you’ve been picking up catalysts you should be able to upgrade. Mobile Mobility improves your leap!

This is a tough section. You start at the snipe option, so use your position here to take down as many aliens as you can see. You can always move back for cover and pick up more ammo from the crate that you passed on your way to this elevated position. There’s some decent cover at the Flank position, but head down there while cloaked. Stay out of the middle area.
Flank your way around to the neutralize position. You need to jump up this ledge.
There’s a heavily armoured enemy up here. Use your Armour ability and blast away at his head, or cloak and bypass him and destroy the next vein.
Now, get to the Ascend position. Keep on the upper platform where you destroyed the spore and leap up the next ledge.
The mountain will begin to crumble so make sure you only step on safe ground.
There’s some ammo and grenades as you make your way to the top. You’re going to come up against some stiff opposition now, and it’s quite a linear path. So stay your distance as much as you can and pick them off before moving forward. This is what your grenades are perfect for!
There's some strategically placed cars here. Remember you can kick them!
Don’t rush for the Spore. There’s a lot of alien activity around here. Stay by ammo spots and pick them off.
When you see the opportunity, leg it and destroy the Spore Conduit.
Sabotage The Central Alien Structure
Watch this cut-scene carefully. You will be prompted to Grab and carry out some other options. Fail to do so and you will die.
Escape The Flood. Reach The Helicopter For Extraction
Keep running to the blue objective marker.
