Infiltrate The Hargreave-Rasch Building
As soon as the mission begins, check out the overturned coach straight ahead.
Stick to the left hand edge of this area. That way you’ll have a good view over the centre where a few Ceph will appear. Remember to collect the catalysts once they’re dead. Head toward the blue objective marker.
Tactial Options
1. Use
2. Stealth
3. Use Turret
4. Take
You eventually need to head to the doors of the underground carpark to the West, but first there’s a lot of Cepth to get past. Stealth is a particularly good option here, but it’s also worth grabbing the sniper DSG-1, which you’ll find by the ammo crates as soon as you drop down.
You’ll see a mounted HMG here, which will help you clear the area of Ceph. When mounted it lacks some flexibilty though, so if Ceph approach you from the left or right you won’t be able to hit them. Remember you can detach the HMG, so bring it with you and clear the way. Mop up the rest with the DSG-1. Those Cepth hate head-shots!
When the coast is clear, check out the head of the Statue of Liberty right in the centre of this area. There’s some water surrounding it, so dive in and pick up the New York Souvenir from by the ammo crate. Head to Use Turret.
You’ll attract the Ceph forces as soon as you fire. Unless you want to collect more catalysts, you might as well just run underground to avoid the battle and through the water.
There’s going to be a mini-boss battle near to the end of this level, so if you see a JAW or an L-Tag weapon, it’s well worth picking it up. Balance that out with a fast-firing weapon that is good at short range, like the Marshall Shotgun or the MK.60. From this point forth you’ll see plenty of weapons to pick up.
Upgrade Nanosuit With Bio-Fixing Protocol: Take The Elevator To The Lobby
Into the carpark, get ready for some close quarter fighting. You’re lean out of cover move comes in extremely handy here, so remember to crouch.

There are two APCs to tackle as you move through the car-park, so take out the gunners as a priority.
A well-placed grenade will also do the trick. Keep your eye on the map here for enemies in red. It’s a tight-area and they do sometimes flank you.
There’s a mounted HMG that you can’t miss on the way to the elevator. This will come in very handy for the next section. Get into the elevator.
Access Security Terminal
Lots of close quarter battles here. You can draw the enemy in once you’ve cleared a room. Just fire down a corridor toward them and then step back. The A.I. tracks you in Crysis 2 so they’ll come looking if you don’t attack. You can then lob a grenade into the doorway or pick them off.
Head up to the lobby. Everything is quiet as you head over to operate the terminal. As soon as you interact with it, you’re going to be attacked. There’s two ways to play this, you could just take up cover behind the desk and defend your area, or you could head to either the left or right hand entrances to the lobby, with a fast-firing, short to mid-range weapon and blast away as they attack. Head down one corridor and move out the other side.
You’ll now be asked to access the terminal once more.
After the cut-scene, turn around and face to the South. You can swim underneath the water here, so take a dive and search for the car.
Rejoin Chino At Central Station: Regroup With The Marines
Head into the pipe. Follow the path all the way around and jump into the sewer pipe. When you come out the otherside it’s time to face the Pinger. You’re given a good tip here: Flank the Pinger and target its weak spot on its back.
Tactical Options
1. Resupply
2. Explore
3. Acquire
All three tactical options will lead you to a weapon or explosive that will help in destroying the huge Pinger. Option 1 is the closest, so cloak and get there to pick up the JAW.
If the Pinger is facing you there’s no point shooting at it. Use your cloak ability to get behind it. Grenades will also help, but C4 appears to be the most effective way of killing it. At option 2, you’ll find C4.
For your efforts you’ll gain a whopping 2000 cataylsts to spend on upgrades.
Regroup At The Vehicles
Team-up with your men.
