Battlefield Bad Company 2: Strategy And Tips For The Assault Kit

In almost any situation choosing the Assault class can be effective. Even the standard automatic assault rifles have the power to take enemies out from a distance, and the loader on its base allows you to attach some extremely effective items, including the 40mm Grenade Launcher and the 40mm Smoke Grenade Launcher.

With these weapons at your disposal you can play both offensively and defensively.  You can be stealthy, perhaps by using the the smoke grenades for cover, or you could pop one through the window of a house before storming the building with your allies.  Though using the target reticule of the grenade launcher takes a little longer to master than some weapons it’s worth perfecting. You can blow sides of buildings, sit back and defend a position against multiple troops, or blow up any light vehicle that gets in your way. The grenade launcher has a large splash radius, so even if you aren’t very accurate you might kill or wound anyone standing in close vicinity to the blast.

Don't keep your finger on the trigger, small bursts are better

You’re an all-rounder, able to disperse ammo boxes to fellow team-mates (great for racking up resupply points, ) yet you’ll hardly ever need ammo yourself because the assault rifles can hold plenty. The Assault class has 12 unlocks in total, but you get some of the good stuff likethe  smoke launcher and 40mm shotgun attachment relatively early on.
