Welcome to the Batman: Arkham City walkthrough. In this guide, we’ll give you tips and strategies on how to beat the bad guys while pointing you in the right direction to find some of the game’s many hidden collectibles.
On top of the roof-top you need to decode the TYGER Encryption Key. Move the reticule over the green circles of the decoding device to listen to the audio from Gotham FM and GCPD dispatch. Hover the reticule over the pulsating orange circle and hold ‘X’ to decode it.
Save Catwoman from Two-face
You need to head to the Courthouse. Run off the edge of the roof and hold down ‘X’ to glide. Objectives are signalled with green exclamation marks. Make your way over to the marker. Check out the group of enemies standing in front of the courthouse. Try and glide kick when prompted. You’ll now be shown how to execute takedowns and string combos together to kill enemies. You’ll automatically unlock the side mission: Acts of Violence.
Head into the courthouse through the front door. Head up the stairs where you’ll see Two-Face and his cronies. Go up the ladders and take out the guy with the gun with a silent takedown – crouch and sneak up behind him. Walk across the wire and drop attack or glide kick into the enemies. You’ll have to fend off a handful of them. Take note of the new evade move (tap run twice) that will get you out of a sticky situation. If you’re losing health you can always use your zip line to head back up to the wire while you compose yourself.
Interrogate Joker to uncover Protocol 10.
After the cut-scene, where you’re almost killed by a bullet, scan the crime scene for ballistic evidence. Tap L2 to enter scan mode and then search the floor. Hold ‘X’ to scan, and then scan the window to find out where the bullet entered. You’ll set a waypoint on the map to the next location.
Locate the Source of the Sniper Shot
You can use the map to find locations. Press Select and the zoom out to Arkham City where you’ll see the green question mark outside the Church/Medical Centre. Before you leave the building head through the back door down to the basement to find a prisoner.
