1) Don’t kill the Borgia messenger. If you tackle him you get lots of money and you don’t become notorious. If you kill him you become notorious.
2) Try not to kill soldiers in high profile mode as this will increase your notoriety level, making it difficult to roam the city undetected.
3) Looting dead bodies & pickpocketing is often not that rewarding. Try finding treasure or completing one of the available jobs instead.
4) Make sure that while playing through the game you acquire all the codex pages, because in the end you can’t continue the game without all of them.
5) Upgrade your armour every so often, as it will increase your health and protect you from falls from great heights.
6) Try fighting with your hidden blades, as they have an element of surprise and most of the time will kill enemies in one blow.
