You’re transported back to New York City three years before the events in episode one, where you and your wife Alice are putting the final touches to your latest book. Check out the full walkthrough, including how to find all the collectibles.

- Switch on the coffee maker
Move straight ahead into the room where Alice is working and you’ll find a Coffee Thermos on her desk. There’s a manuscript (x2 pages) in your office which is next door to Alice’s office at the end of the corridor. Move through the end closed door, to the right is the bathroom and to the left is the bedroom. There’s a radio show you can activate in the bedroom. Now head for the kitchen, back down the corridor, and turn the coffee maker on.
- Go to Alice
Go into her office.
- Examine cover mock-ups
You’ll find these on the desk in your office.
The lights go out and Alice yells for help.
- Check the fusebox
It’s located next to the front door where you began. Sadly it’s blown so Alan whips out his flashlight. Return to Alice and a cut-scene kicks in.
- Talk to Sarah
After talking with Doc Nelson turn behind you and examine the fish on the table. Exit the office and move straight ahead, past reception on your left into the room opposite. You’ll find a coffee thermos here and a manuscript on the floor at the foot of the table. There’s also a radio show to listen to on the side. Exit the office, moving past reception and take the corridor to your right taking note at the sign on the left wall. Sarah is in the office at the end of the corridor. Talk to her and pick up your cell phone.
Alice’s kidnapper rings you and demands that you go to the back lot. Go back toward reception and as you are facing it take the door on the right hand side down the corridor past the cells. In the 3rd cell down is Walter. He’ll beg you to turn the lights on, so go back down the corridor and trigger the light switch on the wall. Now head to the end cell where you’ll find a manuscript.
Out of the door at the end of the corridor and onto the parking lot.
Straight ahead of you you’ll see a Radio and a coffee Thermos.
- Examine the junker
There’s only one way you can go. You need to get through the fence, so kick out the wooden panels that are blocking the hole in the fence. Just to the right as you enter the next area, on the rock underneath the ladders you should see a manuscript. Now go and examine the interior of the scrapped truck. You’ll see Alice’s driving licence! This guy must be serious.
- Exit the Sheriff’s Station
There’s a TV show to watch in the corridor past the cells, it will trigger automatically. As soon as you head into reception you’re onto the next area.
