FirstLook Issue 1

Published on January 31st, 2013

We have been working away like crazy to bring you the next generation of GamerZines, and it’s here! is a brand new magazine that takes all the best bits from our previous magazines and improves on then. As you’d expect, it’s lovingly designed and professionally written, offering previews of the hottest upcoming games. In Issue 1 you can read our extensive preview of upcoming sci-fi crossover , which is a joint venture between Trion and the SyFy TV channel, for the first time offering a TV series and game environment at the same time. Trion Worlds’ new MMO venture is set to change the online landscape as we know it, as the sci-fi experience melds tight third-person shooter combat with the ability for thousands of players to team up and tackle missions online in a persistent open-world. How’s it all work? Read on inside »

There’s also hands on with Aliens: Colonial Marines, Dead Space 3, , Tomb Raider, Metro: Last Light, Metal Gear Rising: Revenengeance and more, plus a new section dedicated to game add-ons, including official game DLC coming your way and user generated content.

FirstLook goes further though – for the first time anywhere, you can click on any game you want, and be taken to PreOrder-IQ, where our new gamer service will tell you in real-time where the best deal to buy that game is in the UK, so you can go ahead and buy in confidence, using the information from a dozen retailers all on one page.

What’s more, FirstLook is available for download as a fully interactive PDF as always with GamerZines, but we’re also now able to offer an online edition that you can read on any device: PC, Tablet, iPad, iPhone or Android phone.
