Having received universal praise for its imaginative take on the puzzle genre, it's no wonder that Warner Bros has announced plans for a follow up to the commercially successful Scribblenauts for Nintendo DS.
Scribblenauts 2 will be released in Autumn this year and will include a number of new features such as an adjective system that will allows players to be even more creative. For those unfamiliar with the concept of Scribblenauts, it involves solving a number of increasingly difficulty environmental puzzles by writing words on the screen that then transform into objects that you can use to interact with your surroundings.
The addition of adjective play will now allow users to change the colour, size and behaviour of certain objects. Warner Bros also reveals that you'll be able to combine objects to solve puzzles.
If you've yet to try Scribblenauts you're missing one of the most innovative games on the Nintendo DS of the last few years. This latest iteration looks like it's going to really let us run wild with our imaginations should be fun!
