UPDATE: A GAME spokesperson has told GamerZines that the firm is still "definitely stocking" Resident Evil Revelations, and the game "will reappear on both sites tonight".

ORIGINAL: Resident Evil Revelations has mysteriously disappeared from GAME and Gamestation's websites, suggesting The GAME Group may no longer be stocking Capcom's latest survival horror.

Capcom's 3DS Resi hit stores today, but there's no explanation as to why it's been pulled from the website of the UK's biggest video games retailer.

The game is still listed on The GAME Group's third website, Gameplay.co.uk, but is listed as 'Temporarily out of stock'.

Typically, when titles go out of stock at GAME and Gamestation they are listed as such, rather than pulled completely, suggesting something more could be afoot at GAME.

Resident Evil Revelations received some mixed reviews from critics in the weeks leading up to launch, but most seem to like it, with a Metacritic aggregate currently standing at 82.

We've reached out to a GAME representative for comment.
