The U.K retail price of the next addition to the ever-growing Nintendo DS family, the Nintendo DSi XL, has been confirmed today.

Priced at £10 more than the DSi, the DSi XL has a suggested retail price of £159.99 and will launch on Friday March 5, 2010.

The new system launches in both Burgundy and Bronze colors, and comes loaded with pre-installed premium software Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock, as well as two free applications: the Nintendo DSi Browser and Flipnote Studio. New features include a larger screen, a longer stylus and improved battery life.

In comparison, the DS Lite currently retails at approximately £100, whereas you can pick up an original DS for approximately £50-£60.
