Nintendo has confirmed that Rayman Origins will launch on 3DS on March 13th 2012.
The platformer, which is also due to launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii this autumn, is currently in development at Ubisoft Montpellier under the eyes of legendary video games designer Michel Ancel.
The game’s release date was confirmed in Nintendo’s latest 3DS release schedule.
Though it’s not been formally announced by Ubisoft, Rayman Origins should look stunning on 3DS. The game already boasts an eye-popping art style on other formats – and we can’t wait to check it out on Nintendo’s handheld.
