Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono has told Edge Magazine his excitement for the Nintendo 3DS is akin to the launch of the Dreamcast.
Ono has openly displayed his enthusiasm for the Nintendo 3DS in the past, but speaking with Edge, the producer said Capcom are "fascinated" by Nintendo’s new handheld.
"First, we are in Nintendo country, said Ono.
"Second, the feeling I have with 3DS is the same as when the Dreamcast came out – as a developer, I mean, these machines are so exciting.
"We’re fascinated by it at Capcom, and diving into the innards at the moment, but you know there’s just so much more there to unlock; it’s got more to give."
Capcom are currently preparing their first 3DS title Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition for the system’s launch.
The Nintendo 3DS launches on March 25 in Europe.
