Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has said that fans won’t have long to wait for big titles like Kid Icarus: Uprising and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to hit shelves.
Speaking to GTTV, Reggie said both of these games were largely complete and ‘nearly done’:
We’ve shown off Ocarina Of Time and we’re going to release it when it makes most sense. Kid Icarus is not in the launch window. These games are nearly done and development is largely complete. Fans are not going to have to wait very long for these games to come out."
Nintendogs Cats and Pilotwings Resort will be Nintendo’s launch titles when the Nintendo 3DS launches in the UK.
Reggie explained that the reason behind this staggered line-up from Nintendo is to give third parties a fighting chance in the launch window:
"We wanted third parties to really have a dramatic presence in the launch window and we’ve achieved that."
The Nintendo 3DS launches in the UK on March 25.
