Nintendo has confirmed that today’s European press conference will begin at 2pm GMT – and GamerZines are there to cover it!
Tom’s on a plane over to Amsterdam right now, where we’ll (hopefully) learn of Nintendo’s European launch details for the 3DS.
Speculative prices and dates for the 3D handheld have already been floating around the net, with The Hut Group slapping down a £299/25th March release at first, before changing it to £249. Gamestation, meanwhile, put a tentative March 1st date on its website, suggesting we’ll get to see the console much earlier than we’d thought.
Hopefully today we’ll get some concrete plans for 3DS’ European debut.
But what do you expect the price and date to be? We’re betting on a March 11th release at £229. 11.3.11. Memorable, right?
But whatever the news might be, be sure to check back here later today where we’ll be giving you a full report.
