UPDATE:
A GameStation representative has corrected the rumours of the date featured on the poster giving this statement:
"Wanted to let you know that sadly, we don’t know the date of launch for the 3DS in the UK yet and the date on the image sent to you isn’t actually on the poster we sent to our stores. Obviously, I’m not sure what store that picture was taken at but unfortunately, the information has been added to the poster by someone incorrectly."
At this time, GameStation is to being taking pre-orders for the system as of tomorrow.
ORIGINAL STORY:
UK retailer GamesStation is telling customers that the Nintendo 3DS will launch on March 1, 2011.
A poster snapped by a reader of 3DS Buzz caught the advertisement which details the features of the system before splashing a release date on the bottom.
According to the report, Game and GameStation stores nationwide are accepting pre-orders with £10 deposits as of tomorrow.
Nintendo has not made an official comment on the matter although rumours suggest the big N will announce all the details later this month.
