GAME has reduced the price of Nintendo 3DS’s to £196.99, making the retailer the cheapest place on the web to pre-order Nintendo’s upcoming handheld.
GAME had been previously asking for £219.99 for both the Cosmos Black and Aqua Blue editions of the 3DS at its online store, itself reduced from the original price of £229.99.
However the price has been cut this morning to match offers run by other retailers. Amazon is currently asking for £197 for the unit, with Play.com currently offering it at £202.
Rather than setting an RRP for the 3DS, Nintendo announced that they would let retailers decide on a price, prompting stores to enter a price war since the release date’s reveal last month.
The Nintendo 3DS is due to launch in the UK on Friday, March 25th. Be sure to look out for our special 3DS launch issue of PlayZine next month.
