Nintendo has announced that 3DS owners will be able to download a free copy of Excitebike in 3D when the eShop launches later next month.
Revealed during Nintendo Japan’s investor’s meeting today, Nintendo hopes the offer with provide consumers with an incentive to download the upcoming firmware update that will add an internet browser and eShop.
Excitebike was originally launched over 20 years ago in 1986 on the NES. It will be the first title to appear on the 3D classics range.
Expect to hear more on the eShop soon.
