Nintendo has announced that it will release a 3DS system update next month.
The long-awaited download, originally due to go live in May, will be available on June 7 – the same day as Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference.
Nintendo confirmed that both the eShop and Internet browser will be included in the update.
US gamers will get the firmware update on the evening of June 6 according to Nintendo America.
Japan will be able to download the update on June 7.
As part of an incentive to get 3DS owners to download the update, the 3D Classics version of Excitebike will be available for free when the eShop goes live.
