Dragon Quest VI will make its first debut outside of Japan as Nintendo of America has announced it will bring the Japan-only RPG to the U.S. in February.
Originally launching on the Super Nintendo in Japan over 15 years ago, Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation will be available on Nintendo DS on February 14th 2011.
"Millions of players around the world have discovered the timeless fun of DRAGON QUEST," said Marc Franklin, Nintendo of America’s director of Public Relations. "The arrival of DRAGON QUEST VI: Realms of Revelation in North America will give fans unique access to a classic game in the series for the first time, offering new ways to explore and enjoy the DRAGON QUEST universe."
The Dragon Quest series made quite an impact this year with the ninth instalment making PlayZine nominations for Best RPG and Game of the Year.
Nintendo of Europe is yet to confirm if they will bring this instalment of the series to our shores.
