3D Video Recording has been confirmed for a Nintendo 3DS firmware update due in November.
Slated for the end of November, the update will allow users to record up to 10 minutes of 3D video and create 3D stop-motion animation videos.
Included in the update will be a new StreetPass Quest dungeon and new puzzles for the Puzzle Swap game.
New Nintendo Video content is also on the way from Red Bull and Eurosport.
Wallace and Gromit creators Aardman will be launching an exclusive series of 3D Shaun the Sheep shorts early next year.
Earlier this week it was reported that the firmware update would hit Europe on November 4 although this has not been confirmed.
