Reports this morning have confirmed that an attachment that adds a second Circle Pad to the Nintendo 3DS.
The Expansion Slide Pad will clip onto the Nintendo 3DS so that a second Circle Pad will fit to the right of the face buttons.
The news was outed by Japanese magazine Famitsu but speaking with Official Nintendo Magazine, a spokesperson for Nintendo confirmed the attachment in fact real.
“Nintendo does plan to release the attachment; further announcements/details will be made at a later date,” a Nintendo spokesperson told ONM.
A new Monster Hunter title is expected to be the first software to make use of it.
