In a rather more friendly and pleasant story about getting free stuff, this is a polite reminder that 3DS owners need to sign into the 3DS eshop today at the latest to claim their 20 free games in the Ambassador scheme.
Nintendo has offered the free downloadable games (available later in the year) and an apology an appeasement to early 3DS owners who may feel aggrieved at the recent news of a significant price drop in the console.
The scheme will offer 10 NES and 10 GBA games, including Metroid Fusion and Mario Kart Super Circuit.
The deadline is 23:59pm CET August 11 to sign into the eShop.
Nintendo will launch the first wave of free content starting September 1 starting with 10 free NES games.
The 10 GBA games will be available before the end of the year.
