About Us

About GamerZines

Gamerzines.com is the portal site to deliver electronically distributed emagazines about videogames and PC games. The emagazines themselves are completely free to our readers. We don’t require any registration or special software, just the standard Adobe Reader software (version 6 or above – also free). Currently we produce free monthly magazines for Xbox 360 (360Zine), PlayStation 3 (P3Zine), PC games (PCGZine) and Handheld games (HGZine) - Sony PSP and Nintendo DS. We also produce the Pro Evolution Soccer Fanzine - PES Fanzine under contract for Konami UK. This is a semi-regular magazine dedicated entirely to the excellent Pro Evolution Soccer videogame. Each of our GamerZines is written by a team of professional games journalists, whose names you’ll recognise if you’ve read any of the UK’s games magazines in the last twenty years. We recognise that what makes a good magazine offline also makes a good magazine online, and that starts with the quality of the words on the page.  The management team behind Gamerzines have all worked on some of the UK’s biggest games and technology magazines, and our aim is to bring the same passion for console and PC games that you see in print onto the web. What will I find in a GamerZine? The same quality of editorial that you would find in a magazine you buy off the shelves - we have over 15 years experience in creating magazinesDesign that matches the highest standards in a printed magazine - our emagazines look great, which makes reading them a lot more enjoyableEase of use - navigating your way around the magazine and using its advanced features is incredibly simple. We have been on perfecting this format for two years.Immersive multimedia - games are an immersive medium, which is why, alongside static screenshots, you'll find animation, interactivity and video throughout our emagazines. What do I need? Adobe Reader version 6 or above (free). If you have installed Internet Explorer 7 (whether you use it or not), we recommend you upgrade to version 8, from this link. It ensures all features work correctly. Because Adobe Reader is a plugin for Internet Explorer, you need to upgrade to the latest version that has been written to work with Internet Explorer 7, or the multimedia elements may not work correctly.Adobe Flash (should be pre-installed on Windows)Windows Media Player version 10 or above (version 9 should be pre-installed on Windows and should work, but we recommend version 10. Try installing the latest version if you experience video playback difficulties.) Why emagazines? People love magazines; we love magazines. We wanted to produce something different to what is already on offer online, something that more closely resembles the experience of a printed magazine, together with the multimedia benefits of emedia.
