Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare interview Xbox 360

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare interview for Xbox 360

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is currently whipping up a storm of excitement among those lucky enough to have access to its beta version, we've pinned down Vince Zampella, studio head at Infinity Ward, to get his take on the game. He tells us why they brought the COD franchise into the modern day and what that brings to the game, and while he's tight lipped about what secrets the game has in store, he's got plenty to say about the online aspects of COD4, the influences behind the game, his favourite new feature, and whether he'd rather take a sniper shot or go in with a knife. Conflict Denied Ops preview Xbox 360

Conflict Denied Ops preview for Xbox 360

Out next year, the latest in the Conflict series promises a bit of a departure from its predecessors. While Desert Storm and Global Storm and the rest were third-person squad based action games, the upcoming Conflict: Denied Ops will be a first person shooter, with just two characters to work with rather than a whole team. It's quite a change, but will it breathe fresh life into the series or kill it dead? Find out more in our Conflict Denied Ops preview now!

Viva Pinata Party Animals preview Xbox 360

Viva Pinata Party Animals preview for Xbox 360

Viva Pinata Party Animals brings the sweet-filled inhabitants of the original Viva Pinata back to the 360 in this collection of minigames and multiplayer gaming. In the original, you played solo building and nurturing your own garden of pinatas; in Party Animals, you can play alongside four others in party mode (or on Xbox Live if you prefer), so it's playable in bite-size chunks. It's looking good for a Christmas game for all the family: find out more in our Viva Pinata Party Animals preview now!

Kane and Lynch Dead Men preview Xbox 360

Kane and Lynch Dead Men preview for Xbox 360

We've had a hands-on look this month at Kane and Lynch: Dead Men from the team that brought us the Hitman series. Due out in time for Christmas lists everywhere, Kane and Lynch is an action classic in the making - brutal, fast-moving and with a plot so taut you'll be on the edge of your seat. Not one for the family market, this is unashamedly adult content, and that's one of the things that make it such an exciting prospect. Find out more about Kane and Lynch: Dead Men and see shots of the game in our hands-on preview now!

FIFA 08 review Xbox 360

FIFA 08 review for Xbox 360

FIFA 08 needs no introduction to football fans - many of you will have been waiting for this one all year. Last year's version was a bit lacklustre on the Xbox 360 - will FIFA 08, with its 620 licensed teams and roughly 15000 players, make up for it? We think it does - it's a much bigger game with huge scope and plenty of new features both on and off the pitch. Find out more about FIFA 08 and its take on the beautiful game in our full review now!

Eternal Sonata review Xbox 360

Eternal Sonata review for Xbox 360

Eternal Sonata is a classically constructed Japanese RPG, with a beyond-quirky plot, explorable world and turn-based combat. Visually stunning and packed with detail, Eternal Sonata is accessible enough for newcomers to the genre but still challenging enough to keep you playing to the end. While it's faithful to the classic JRPG template, Eternal Sonata does have some original features, particularly in the combat sections. Skate review Xbox 360

Skate review for Xbox 360

Skateboarding games have pretty much belonged to Tony Hawk up to now - newcomer Skate has been much vaunted as a contender for the crown, and now it's here we can decide for ourselves. It's much more of a sim than Tony Hawk, with fantastically authentic skating and a huge freeform city to roam around. The comparison is inevitable, but we think there's more to Skate than just emulating Tony Hawk. Read our full Skate review for Xbox 360 and find out more now!
