1942 Joint Strike preview Xbox 360

1942 Joint Strike preview Xbox 360

1942: Joint Strike will be a blast from the past for gamers who remember the Eighties, as it's a reimagining of the 2D arcade shoot-em up so popular back in the day. Set in 1942, it's not, say Capcom, a World War 2 game, as it's not the 1942 of our reality. To find out exactly what they mean by that, and to see for yourself how the game has updated for the 21st century, check out our first look at 1942: Joint Strike now!

Dark Sector review Xbox 360

There's third-person action with more than a hint of Gears of War about it in Dark Sector, this month's new shooter where you'll take on a horde of mutants, ducking and covering and availing yourself of an array of weapons. What makes Dark Sector different from a straight shooter is its innovative glaive weapon, which extends from your own arm and gives you a whole range of new and disgusting ways to despatch your foes. Is the glaive just a novelty, or enough to set Dark Sector apart and keep you playing into the small hours? Find out in our Dark Sector review now!

A third-person shooter set in a selection of the world's current warzones, Army of Two offers all the usual shooter attractions: loads of guns, plenty of enemies to use them on and a storyline that just about justifies all the carnage. Playing either online with a friend or alongside an AI partner, you'll depend on your buddy to get you through the game. Is this enough to make Army of Two stand out from the crowd of stellar shooters released recently? Find out more in our review now.
