Grand Theft Auto IV preview (GTA 4) – Xbox 360
If you’re a politician, look away now, because you’re not going to like GTA IV, so you won't want to read our exciting GTA 4 preview. For the rest of us, the Grand Theft Auto series returns this Autumn on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but Xbox 360 gamers have been dealt a bit of a GTA 4 bonus card, because the Xbox 360 version will include downloadable content (here’s hoping a fast one isn’t pulled where we don’t get existing GTA 4 content that’s on the PS3 disc, just to get to download it). At any rate, the Grand Theft Auto IV hype train is pulling out of the station and we hopped on board to admire the view with a special GTA 4 preview that dissects everything shown so far with an expert games journalist's eye. GTA IV returns us to Liberty City and our GTA 4 preview dissects the trailer, tells you what can be gleaned from it and offers some entertaining observations. And if that’s not enough, the GTA 4 trailer itself can be seen within the magazine on the GTA 4 preview pages, while you read the rest of the GTA 4 preview. Fable 2 preview – Xbox 360
Fable 2 is one of the most anticipated games on the Xbox 360, so naturally 360Zine has a new Fable 2 preview. The original Fable sold like a billion copies on the original Xbox (n.b. not actually true), so expectations are high on Peter Molyneux to deliver in Fable 2 what was promised for the first Fable. Which might explain why he and Lionhead are remaining quite tight-lipped on Fable 2. Will Fable 2 have guns? Will Fable 2 have online play? Can gamers play Fable 2 on PC? Will there be pets in Fable 2? Oh, wait, we can answer the last one! The GDC finally lifted the lid on some Fable 2 gameplay elements, including the much rumoured Fable 2 dog companion. Our new Fable 2 preview takes a look at everything that was revealed by Peter Molyneux about Fable 2 at the conference and the preview takes the time to debunk some of the incorrect rumours flying around the web about Fable 2 (like, the graphics, for instance, which are completely unfinished and stated as such, but which we’ve seen many sites having a go at – d’oh, but anyway, if you like Fable 2, read the preview, it’s fun). This is 360Zine's second preview of Fable 2 in the free Xbox 360 magazine (see below for a link to the first preview). Click here to read the Fable 2 preview – Xbox 360! |

Earth Defence Force 2017 Xbox 360 review
Just how much fun can shooting ants be? An awful lot it turns out. Earth Defence Force 2017 is a game that has split reviewers down the middle. Does it make enough use of the Xbox 360’s power? Is Earth Defence Force 2017 a game without any substance? We think this misses the point. Earth Defence Force 2017 is a shooter, pure and simple, stripped of all the plot and trimmings that we have come to expect in today’s glossy games, but all the better for it. Earth Defence Force 2017 is pure and simple fun for your Xbox 360, and anyone who cannot find the fun in shooting giant ants and huge robots, well, look away now.
