You've seen the films and read the books, and later this year you'll be able to step into the shoes of Robert Ludlum's amnesiac assassin Jason Bourne. Based on the first book of the trilogy, The Bourne Identity, the game promises the fast and furious action of the films. The Bourne Conspiracy preview for Xbox 360
We could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you. Actually, until next month, we don't know the precise details. What we do know is that Conspiracy is based on the first Bourne novel, The Bourne Identity. Rather than follow the plot to the letter, however, there'll be a whole host of new elements which reveal the secrets behind Jason Bourne's past.

What do we know?
It's a third-person action adventure with a few more explosions and gunfights than you might expect from an espionage thriller, though that's not to say it's looking anything less than seriously impressive. It's mostly a mix of gunplay and hand-tohand combat - the former isn't too far removed from Gears of War's ‘stop-and-pop' gameplay, with an intuitive cover system.
