Taking the action right into the middle of the mysterious Area 51 itself, and mixing sci-fi fantasy with real-world locations, Blacksite drops you and your squad into a tangled web of alien invasion, biological weapons and government cover-ups. Although the US Government has admitted to the presence of an "operating location” in the Nevada desert, the entire area doesn’t appear on any maps. The security guards patrolling the area are authorised to use lethal force to protect the base if necessary. And even though the US Government have been asked many times to cough up what happens in the base, each request has been turned down for matters of "national security”. With all of this uncertainty surrounding this base, Area 51 is the perfect setting for a sci-fi shooter, and Blacksite takes its "creative license” as far as it can go. Mixing real life locations, such as the desert town of Rachel, Nevada, and the "Little A’le’inn”, a small guest house that sits near the base, with a plot revolving around biological weapons, alien invasions, and, of course, a government conspiracy, Blacksite certainly has a level of authenticity to keep all alien hunters happy.
